Ingredients:
Carrot – 2 medium sizes chopped
Peas- 2 cup Peas
Oil – 2 tablespoons
Cummin seeds -1/2 teaspoon
Asafoetida – 1/4 teaspoon
Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder -1 teaspoon
Red chili powder- 1/4 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Garam masala- 1/2 teaspoon
Dry mango powder- 1 teaspoon
Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:
Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a pan, add 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds and let the seeds crackles.
Add, 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric and stir.
Add, chopped carrot, peas and salt and mix well so that all the oil coats the carrots and they are seared lightly.
Cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes or till carrots cooked.
Add coriander powder, red chili powder,garam masala, dry mango powder and mix it well.
Stir for a few minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves when serving.
Carrot and peas veggie are ready to serve.
