How to make Bhindi ki sabzi-Bhindi recipe-Veg okra recipe
A simple ladyfinger dish-Ideal for the daily meal-no onion and no garlic
Ingredients:
- 250 gm bhindi
- 2 tsp oil
- a pinch of asafoetida
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp dry mango powder
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 green chili chopped
- Salt to taste
- Chopped coriander leaves
Method:
- Bhindi should wash with water to remove dirt.
- Whip dry and trim both ends of the bhindi.
- Slit each bhindi vertically without breaking or cutting into two halves. Heat the oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
- When seeds crackle then add asafoetida and turmeric powder, mix well.
- Add bhindi and salt and mix well and cover with a lid on low flame for 5 minutes while stirring occasionally.
- When bhindi is cooked add all the spices and mix well.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
