Boondi raita recipe- How to make boondi raita recipe-Spiced boondi raita
It’s a north Indian raita made with spiced yogurt and boondi.
Serving for two
Ingredients:
Yogurt or curd – 1 cup
Boondi Plain salted- 1/2 cup
Cold milk – 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Red chili powder- 1/2 teaspoon
Roasted cumin powder- 1 teaspoon
Sugar- 1 teaspoon
Black pepper- – 1/2 teaspoon
Black salt or rock salt- 1/4 teaspoon
Method:
Soak boondi in normal water for 5 minutes.
Squeeze whole water and keep aside.
In a bowl beat yogurt or curd and add sugar and milk.
Add boondi, red chili powder, roasted cumin powder,black pepper and black salt and mix well.
Place this bowl in refrigerator.
While serving add salt and mix well.
Garnish with roasted cumin powder and red chili powder.
