Dahi sandwich is an everyday recipe which you can make any time of the day. It can be made quickly in minutes with the ingredients easily available at home.
For Four Sandwich
Ingredients:
8 slices of bread
1 tablespoon mustard seeds
Oil as required
For Stuffing
1 cup hung curd
1/2 cup onion chopped
1/2 cup tomato chopped
1/2 cup capsicum chopped (yellow, green and red color capsicum)
Salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon roasted cumin seeds powder
Method:
- Combine all the ingredients of the stuffing in a bowl and mix well.
- Take a bread slice, put a big spoonful of this yogurt mixer on it and spread evenly.
- Cover with another slice.
- Heat griddle (tawa ) and put one teaspoon oil and add a pinch of mustard seeds and put sandwich.
- Spread oil all sides of the sandwich and flip the sandwich.
- Toast this sandwich until golden brown and crisp.
- Repeat this process for making the remaining sandwich more.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce or green chutney.
