Ajwain puri is a puffed Indian bread that is flavored with carom seeds. Ajwain seeds give a distinctive aroma and flavor, helps in digestion too. I will share my tips on how to make khasta ajwain poori. This probably the simplest kind of poori to make.

Making for 4
Ingredients:
- 250 grams of wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon carom seeds(ajwain)
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup milk
- Oil for frying

Method:
- In a mixing bowl, add flour, carom seeds, salt, and milk and mix well.
- Add sufficient water and knead in order to get a consistency of a stiff dough.
- In the end, add 2 tablespoons of oil to bind.
- Let it rest for half an hour.
- Make equal size balls and roll them onto a board using a rolling pin.
- Heat the oil in a wok with enough oil to fry the puris.
- After 5 to 10 minutes you can add a tiny bit of the dough into the oil to check if it is done.
- Now gently and carefully slide the puris into the oil. Once it comes on top, with your ladle Press puris down so that it helps in puffing up.
- Then later turn the puris and cook on both sides till you get a golden brown.
- Once done, take out on a kitchen towel to abstract the excess oil.
- Now our delicious Ajwain puris are ready to serve.
- Serve with Aloo matar or Aloo tamatar and boondi raita.
