Pasta in red sauce- How to make pasta in red sauce recipe

Pasta is a staple food of traditional Italian cuisine. Perfectly cooked Fusilli and richly flavored tomato sauce come across as a heavenly match. This easy to make recipe can be easily prepared at home using some simple ingredients.

Serving for two:

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups fusilli pasta
3 Tomatoes 
2 Onions
2 Tablespoon oil
1 Teaspoon chopped garlic
Salt to taste
1/2 Cup tomato ketchup
1 Teaspoon oregano
1/2 Teaspoon red chili flakes
1/2 Teaspoon black pepper

Method:

Chopped onion and make paste of tomatoes.
In a large bowl add 5 cups of water and heat when water comes boil add pasta, 1 tsp salt and 1 tablespoon oil.
Keep stirring occationaly.
Cover with lid and cook for 10 to 15 minutes until pasta cooked.
Drain in colander and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan and add chopped garlic and saute for one minute, add chopped onion and  saute until golden.
Now add tomato paste and saute.
Add salt and black pepper and tomato ketchup and mix well and cook until it reaches a desired consistency.
Taste the sauce and adjust salt as needed. Add oregano.
Add pasta and toss well until mixed.
Now our red sauce pasta is ready to serve.
