Paneer Jalfrazi recipe-How to make paneer jalfrazi
Paneer Jalfrezi basically is an Indian style stir-fry dish which tastes delicious and looks beautiful. A low-calorie paneer dish that has contrasting textures with melt in the mouth soft paneer and the bell peppers provide a flavourful crunch. It makes for a wonderful filling with wraps and a good side dish with chappatis.
Ingredients:
- 200 grams – Paneer
- 2 tablespoons – oil
- 1 teaspoon – Cumin Seeds
- 2-3 – Dried red chilies
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 medium Onion cut into strips
- 1 medium tomato chopped
- 1 medium tomato cut into strips
- 1/2 medium Green Capsicum cut into strips
- 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 green chilies chopped
- 1-inch ginger cut into juliennes
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 10-12 Fresh coriander springs
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
- Add cumin seeds and saute for 30 seconds, add chopped onions and saute for 2 minutes, add ginger paste and saute, add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder and salt and add chopped tomatoes, 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon tomato puree and saute till oil separates from side of pan wall. Now are onion masala is ready.
- Heat 2 teaspoon oil in a non-stick pan.
- Add cumin seeds, dry red chilies, chopped green chili, ginger julienne and saute.
- Add sliced onion and toss, add tomato strips and toss, add capsicum strips and toss then add onion masala, 2 tablespoon tomato ketchup, salt, 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala and mix well.
- Add paneer strips and chopped coriander and toss and mix well.
- Our paneer jalfrazi is ready to serve.
