Green Chutney or Coriander mint Chutney recipe- How to make coriander mint chutney
A mint and coriander flavored chutney which is great for a sandwich spreads. Lemon juice enhances the flavors of mint and coriander and prevents discoloration of the greens. Green chutney is probably the most favorite Indian accompaniment.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Mint Leaves
- 1 cup coriander leaves
- 1-inch ginger
- 4-5 green chili
- Salt to taste
- Cumin seeds- 1 teaspoon
- Sugar – 1 teaspoon
- Lemon Juice – 2 teaspoon
Method:
- Rinse both the Mint leaves and coriander leaves very well in a strainer.
- In a Blender grind, all the above ingredients to a smooth paste using 3-4 teaspoon water.
- Keep the mind coriander chutney in an airtight container in a refrigerator.
- Adjust salt, green chili and lemon juice as per your taste.
- You can serve this mint coriander chutney with pakoras, samosas, chaat, chole, potato chips or other snacks.
