Pumpkin Poori Recipe, kaddu ki Puri, How to make kaddu ki puri

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup grated pumpkin
  • 2 cup wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon gram flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon carom seeds
  • oil for frying
Method: 
  • Take a pan and put the grated pumpkin and one tablespoon water. Boil it on a medium flame till the pumpkin becomes tender.
  • Now take a bowl, add wheat flour, gram flour, boiled pumpkin, salt, carom seeds and one tablespoon oil.
  • Knead the mixture without water. Cover the dough and leave it for 20 minutes.
  • Heat sufficient oil in the wok.
  • Divide the dough in equal part and roll them into slightly thick pooris of 3-inch diameter.
  • Deep fry the pooris till golden brown.
  • Drain on the kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
  • Our pumpkin pooris are ready to serve.
  • Serve with pickle or raita.
