Pumpkin Poori Recipe, kaddu ki Puri, How to make kaddu ki puri
The salty pumpkin poori is as soft as a normal poori is as soft as a normal poori.
- 2 cup grated pumpkin
- 2 cup wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon gram flour
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon carom seeds
- oil for frying
Method:
- Take a pan and put the grated pumpkin and one tablespoon water. Boil it on a medium flame till the pumpkin becomes tender.
- Now take a bowl, add wheat flour, gram flour, boiled pumpkin, salt, carom seeds and one tablespoon oil.
- Knead the mixture without water. Cover the dough and leave it for 20 minutes.
- Heat sufficient oil in the wok.
- Divide the dough in equal part and roll them into slightly thick pooris of 3-inch diameter.
- Deep fry the pooris till golden brown.
- Drain on the kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
- Our pumpkin pooris are ready to serve.
- Serve with pickle or raita.
