Pumpkin Crepes recipe-Pumpkin chila- How to make pumpkin chilla or pude

Crepes or chilla is one of the popular street food of North India. today I made Healthy, nutritious and tasty crepes made with pumpkin flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup grated pumpkin
  • 1 cup gram flour
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • Oil for frying

Method:

  • First I steam grated pumpkin in the microwave for 1 minute.
  • Then Mix all the above ingredients except oil in a bowl and add enough water to get a batter of thick pouring consistency.
  • Heat a non-stick griddle and for the first crepes, grease it with few drops of oil.
  • Turn the heat to low and pour 2 tablespoon batter in the center of the griddle.
  •  Spread it in a  round circular motion with the back of serving spoon.
  • Turn the heat to medium and drizzle some oil on the crepes.
  • When the edges turn brownish, it means crepes are cooked from underneath.
  • Flip it and cook from another side till golden brown.
  • Serve hot Pumpkin crepes with chutney or sauce.
