Gram flour arbi recipe, Besani Arbi(colocasia- Taro root) recipe, How to make besan wali arbi
Besan wali arbi is a very healthy and full of flavor. It tastes as good with roti/ chapatti/dal and rice. The flavor of besani arbi is tempting and I am sure you will enjoy each bite of this.

Ingredients:
- 250 grams arbi
- 1 tablespoon gram flour(besan)
- 2 tablespoon oil
- A pinch of asafoetida
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mango powder
- 1 green chili
- 1/2 lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Wash arbi and put them in the cooker with one glass of water to boil.
- After one whistle goes off turn off the gas.
- Once the cooker cools down to open it up and take out the arbi and cool them off.
- Peel arbi and cut them lengthwise into two halves.
- Now heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, asafoetida, carom seeds, fennel seeds, turmeric powder and besan.
- Saute for one minute and then add boiled arbi, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder.
- Mix well and cook for 2 minutes after two minutes change the side of arbi, mean upper side down.
- And again let the cook for 2 minutes.
- Add dry mango powder and lemon juice.
- Serve hot with roti or paratha and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
