Rice preparation in Manchurian gravy is a truly tongue-tickling dish from China. This mind-blowing blend of flavors and textures in this dish will definitely excite your taste buds.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of rice
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 1 finely chopped green chilly
- 5 to 6 cloves of garlic finely chopped
- 1/2 inch ginger grated
- 1 cup chopped spring onion whites and green
- Salt to taste
For sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornflour
- 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
- 2 tablespoon tomato chilly sauce
- 2 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 1/2 cups water
- Salt to taste
For garnishing
- 1 cup fried noodles
- 2 tablespoon finely chopped spring onions whites and greens
Method:
- For the sauce, In a bowl add cornflour, tomato ketchup, hot and sweet sauce soya sauce, vinegar, salt, and mix well and now add 1 1/2 cup water and mix well.
- For boiling rice, heat a pan and add rice and 2 cups water.
- Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add green chilly, garlic, ginger, and spring onion and saute on a medium flame.
- Add the prepared sauce and stir occasionally till the sauce becomes slightly thick. It will take almost 2 minutes.
- Add boiled rice and a little salt and mix gently and cook for 2 minutes while stirring occasionally.
- Garnish with fried noodles and spring onion.
