Pearl Millet’s Cookies, How to make pearl millet’s cookies
Pearl millet, one of the nutritional rich millet. Sometimes it’s hard for us to make kids eat millet dishes, so I tried making this cookie. I have enriched the cookie with almonds and coconut.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup bajra
- 1/3 cup desiccated coconut
- 100 grams or 1/2 cup butter
- 1 pinch salt
- 3/4 cup ground sugar [ take 1/2 cup normal sugar and grind in grinder]
- 1/4 cup ground almonds [20 almondsĀ grind in grinder]
Method:
- Preheat oven at 180 degree.
- line the cookie tray with parchment paper and set it aside.
- Mix bajra, coconut and almonds in a bowl.
- In another bowl add butter and sugar and mix well.
- Than add the mixture and mix well.
- Make small lemon sized balls out of the dough. Pat each dough ball gently between your palms and place it on the cookie tray.
- Bake it in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
- Take the baked cookies and set it aside to cool off completely.
- Store the cookies in the air-tight container.
- Enjoy the homemade healthy cookies.
