Enjoy these tempting crispy corn bullets with the sauce of your choice as a starter or snack. I prepared this recipe by blending the corn shells and mixing them with other vegetables.
Ingredients:-
- 1 cup + 2 tablespoon corn
- 2 boiled medium size potatoes mashed or grated
- 1 onion chopped medium size
- 1/4 cup chopped capsicum
- 1 green chili finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
- 2 tablespoon chickpea flour {besan}
- 1/4 teaspoon chaat masala
- 3 bread slices
- 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tablespoon cornflour/rice flour {optional}
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon juice
- Oil for frying
Method:
- Blend the corn in a mixer, without using any water, to get a coarse paste.
- Transfer the paste to a large mixing bowl.
- Now add all the ingredients except oil and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each portion as u like. I gave a bullet shape.
- Heat the oil in a wok and deep fry the bullets till they turn golden brown and crisp form all the sides.
- Drain on an absorbent paper.
- Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
