Paneer Paratha recipe,how to make paneer paratha

Paneer paratha are popular breakfast recipe in punjabi homes. Paneer paratha is an Indian flat bread made with stuffed grated cheese and spice powders. Paneer parathas are eaten with pickle but it can be even served with simple plain curd.

Ingredients:
For dough

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup wheat flour for dusting

For stuffing

  • 1 cup- grated Paneer
  • 1 – green chilli chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon – garam masala
  • 1/4 cup – chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon -red chili powder

Method

  • In a bowl take 1 cup wheat flour and add salt and mix it.
  • Add 1/2 cup milk and mix it.
  • Add water and knead dough. dough should be soft.
  • For stuffing in another bowl add grated paneer and all spices and mix well.
  • Firstly take a medium sized ball dough, roll about 5 inches in diameter.
  • Place the prepared stuffing in the center.
  • Take the edge and start pleating bringing to center.
  • And press the pleats from center.
  • Furthermore, sprinkle some flour and roll to of a chapati size.
  • Place rolled paratha on a hot tava/griddle and cook both sides.
  • Apply ghee and press slightly.
  • Finally, serve hot paneer parathas with sauce, raita or pickle.
