Cauliflower Pattie Recipes, Gobhi ki tikki recipe, how to make cauliflower pattie
Whenever cauliflower is in season, we make cauliflower patties as a snack.
Ingredients
- 2 medium sized boiled potato mashed or grated
- 1 cup grated cauliflower florets
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 cup- bread crumbs
- 1 medium size onion chopped
- 1/4 cup coriander leaves chopped
- 1 green chili chopped
- 3 tablespoon gram flour
- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1/4 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- Salt to taste
- Oil for shallow fry
Method:
- Add all the ingredients except oil and bread crumbs and mix everything well.
- Do not add water as the mixture will bind on its own moisture.
- Heat 2-3 tablespoon oil in a pan and meanwhile make small patty by rolling a handful of the mixture into a ball and flattening it with your palm.
- Roll these in bread crumbs.
- Pan fry them on medium flame from both the sides until golden brown.
- Serve hot with ketchup or chutney.
