Falahari aloo halwa recipe or potato halwa is a delicious Indian sweet which is made using potato as the base ingredients, especially for vrat.
Falahari aloo halwa is a perfect dish to have for vrat as well as the ingredients used to make it are allowed as falahar.
Ingredients:
- 3 medium-size potato peeled, boiled, and mashed
- 1/4 cup ghee
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 4-5 almonds
- 4-5 cashew nuts
Method:
- Heat ghee in a pan.
- add mashed potatoes and cook on medium heat until potatoes are slightly browned.
- It will take approximately 10-12 minutes.
- Add milk, sugar, and cardamom powder and cook for 8 -10 minutes.
- Add almonds and cashew nuts and, mix well.
- serve hot.
