Dhaniya Panjiri Prasad Recipe, coriander registries recipe, How to make dhaniya panjiri for Janmashtami
Dhaniya ki Panjiri is a falahari dish especially made for Krishna Janmashtami as Prasad. Prepared using ghee, dhaniya powder, dry fruits, coconut, and powdered sugar, this dish makes the festivities more divine and spiritual. Dhaniya ki Panjiri can be also consumed every day after consuming your meal. it is also good for health.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup coriander powder
- 1/2 cup sugar powder
- 3/4 cup lotus seeds (makhana)
- 1/2 cup grated coconut
- 8-10 almonds
- 8-10 cashew nuts
- 1 tablespoon melon seeds
- 3-4 tablespoon ghee
Method:

- Cut the lotus seeds into two pieces. Cut cashews and almonds into small pieces.
- Put ghee in a pan and put pieces of lotus seeds in it and roast it while stirring continuously on medium flame. After roasting the lotus seeds, take them out in a bowl.
- Put grated coconut in the same pan and roast it on medium flame while stirring continuously until slightly clour change.
- After roasting take out in a bowl.
- Put 1/2 teaspoon ghee in the same pan and add chopped almonds and cashew nuts and melon seeds in the pan and roast them for a minute and take out in a bowl.
- Put 2 tablespoon ghee in a pan and add coriander powder.
- Roast it on medium to low flame till the aroma comes or slight color change.
- After that take them out in a bowl.
- Now we take a large bowl and add roasted coriander powder and add powder sugar, roasted lotus seeds, roasted coconuts, and roasted nuts and mix well.
- Our Dhaniya panjiri is ready to serve.
- Store the panjiri in an airtight container up to 2 to 3 month.
