Hari Mirchi fry is a delicious and super yummy recipe. Hari Mirch fry will surely be liked by spicy food eaters. This hari Mirch fry or green chilly fry or masala mirchi is a quick fix recipe or can say an instant pickle. It easily stays good for 2 to 3 days at room temperature so we can carry it in traveling.
Try this green chilly fry with mild spicy green chilies if you don’t like too much spicy food.
Ingredients:
- 100 gram – green chilly
- 1 teaspoon- oil
- A pinch of asafoetida –
- Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
- 1 teaspoon – mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon – fennel seeds
- 1 teaspoon – coriander powder
- 1/4 teaspoon – turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon -red chilly powder
- 1 teaspoon – dry mango powder
- Salt to taste

Method:
- Wash the green chilies and then slit them from the center to separate the two parts but keep the stem intact to hold it together.
- Heat oil in a pan and add asafoetida, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, mustard seeds.
- When mustard seeds start to crackle and add turmeric powder.
- Add the green chilies and salt and mix well.
- Now add all the remaining dry ingredients and mix well.
- Now cover the pan with a lid for 2 minutes on low heat.
- So that chilies become slightly soft and spices get cooked.
- Now switch off the flame and serve as a side dish with your food.
- Stays well for 2 to 3 days at room temperature and for a week in the refrigerator.
