Mango Shrikhand Recipe, Amrakhand recipe
Mango Shrikhand or Amrakhand is a traditional Gujarati- A Maharashtrian recipe made using hung curd and fresh mango puree. Mango Shrikhand is a refreshing and perfect summer recipe for sweet lovers. It’s served as a dessert or side dish with poori. Here is how to make it.
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Hung Curd
- 1/2 cup Mango puree
- 3 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- Saffron Strands Soaked in 1 tablespoon milk
- Pistachio Flakes

Method:
- Take a muslin cloth and spread it on a big bowl.
- Pour the curd in the cloth.
- Now bring the ends of the cloth together and hang it on support to drain the water from the curd.
- Let the curd for 4-5 hours.
- The thick curd that is collected now is called Chakka.
- Mix the Chakka with the remaining ingredients.
- Whisk nicely to make it smooth.
- Transfer in the serving shots glasses.
- Garnish with chopped mango and pistachio slivers.
- Served chilled.
