Cucumber Hummus Bouquet
These cucumber hummus bouquets are sure to impress your guests at your upcoming party 😍
Easy to make, healthy, vegan, gluten-free and loaded with fiber, protein, iron, folic acid and micronutrients. An ideal recipe for breakfast, lunch, kid’s tiffin box, post workout, evening snack and party appetizer😍
Ingredients:-
For hummus:-
1 cup chickpeas, boiled
1 medium size beetroot, boiled
2 tbsp white sesame seeds, roasted
2-3 cloves garlic
1-2 green chilies or 1/2 jalapeño pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 lemon juice
1 tsp salt or as required
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup water or as required
Grind everything into a smooth and creamy paste. Do not add too much water.
For 6 bouquet:-
2 -3 cucumbers
1 carrot, juliennes
1/2 red bell pepper, juliennes
Arugula, cilantro, spinach or any leafy greens of your choice.
1 tbsp roasted white and black sesame seeds for garnishing.
Cut off both the ends of the cucumber. Cut into half then diagonally (as shown in the video). Scoop out the center and fill it with hummus and veggies of your choice. Enjoy!
Tips:-
1. You can use any hummus or vegetables of your choice.
2. Do not make hummus runny , it has to be creamy but little thicker side.
