Kanda Poha is a traditional maharashtrian dish, usually served for breakfast or even as snack and served with Masala chai, and loved by all of India.
It’s a simple dish consisting of flattened rice with onions and peanuts.
Ingredients :
- 1. 2 Cups Thick Poha (Flattened rice)
- 2. 1/2 lemon
- 3. 3 tbsp Oil
- 4.1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 5. 6-7 Curry leaves
- 6. 1 Chopped Green chilli
- 7.1 Chopped Large Onion
- 8.Some Roasted Peanuts
- 9.1 Small Chopped Boiled Potato
- 10. Salt to taste
- 11. 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 12. 1 tsp sugar
- 13. chopped coriander leaves
Method:
1.Quickly Rinse poha well with clean filtered water.
2.Drain the water completely or Squeeze poha & transfer to other bowl.
3.Squeeze 1/2 Lemon in poha, gently Mix & keep it aside.
4. In a kadhai add oil and once the oil hot add mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chilli and chopped onion and roast them.
5. Add roasted peanuts and boiled potato.
6.Cook well.
7. Poha & 1 tsp Sugar.
8. Mix Gently & add Some chopped coriander leaves.
