This Mango Trifle recipe is just perfect for summer. It’s refreshing and light, and bursting with juicy mango. This Mango Trifle is just right for any summertime celebration .
Ingredients:
- 12 Nutri choice biscuits
- 500 ml Milk
- 2 Mangoes
- 2 tablespoon custard powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 7 to 8 saffron strands
Method:
- Soak saffron in one tablespoon milk for 30 minutes.
- Wash the mangoes and peel them nicely. Next, finely chop the mangoes into small pieces. Reserve a few pieces for garnishing and grind the remaining into a thick pulp.
- Take a bowl and make the custard by mixing the custard powder with 1/4 cup milk and stir until the mixture turns into a smooth blend without any lumps.
- Now, put a pan over medium flame and boil the remaining milk. Bring the milk to a boil and add the custard, sugar, and saffron milk and blend to it. When the mixture gets thicken switch off the flame.
- When custard cools down then add the mango puree and mix well.
- Grind the biscuits in a mixer jar and make a fine powder.
- In a flat bowl add first layer biscuits.
- Then pour custard and set 2nd layer.
- Garnish with the reserved mangoes and whipped cream and serve it chilled.
