Ingredients:

For Batter

  • 70 grams all-purpose flour
  • 60 grams powdered sugar
  • 50 grams butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 80 grams Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence

For Fruit Mixture

  • 150 grams Fresh strawberries
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 50 grams sugar

Method:

  • Preheat oven at 180 C for 10 min.
  • In a bowl, mix strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • In a different bowl, take flour, sugar, and butter. Mix everything until it looks like bread crumbs.
  • Add baking soda, baking powder, essence, and milk.
  • Make a thick batter of dropping consistency. Now keep aside.
  • Now in the baking mold, spread the fruit mixture.
  • Top the fruit mixture with a prepared thick batter.
  • Using a spatula, spread it evenly.
  • Bake it in a preheated oven at 180 C for 35 min.
  • Once baked, serve hot with a scoop of ice-cream.
